For 70 years, the United Fund of Surry has been a cornerstone of compassion, collaboration, and community support across Surry County, North Carolina. Founded in 1956, we were created with a simple but powerful mission: to bring people together to strengthen our community and ensure that critical local needs are met.

What We Do
The United Fund of Surry raises and distributes funds to support a network of partner agencies that provide essential services to individuals and families. These services span a wide range of needs, including health care, youth development, food security, crisis assistance, and senior support. Through careful stewardship and community-driven decision-making, we ensure that every dollar invested works to strengthen the fabric of Surry County.
